This is a great knife and a great value at any price. Quality 440 ^{(see below)} stainless steel and a comfortable ergonomic ribbed handle. It includes a ballistic nylon sheath for protection.

We like the way the cradling handle protects the hand and keeps it from slipping while cutting into the fish. The knife feels quite safe when in use.

Do not let the price fool you. We compared this knife to others that cost as much as $ 39 and it easily outperformed and outlasted them. It is very sharp and with a little care, it will last you a long time (limited quantities).

About 440 Steel:  440 is a high carbon stainless steel. Blades made of 440 do not discolor or stain, and maintain a sharp edge and are far superior than regular stainless steel.
