Genuine Sabiki Rigs

SABIKIS are traditional Japanese fishing rigs primarily used to catch small to medium coastal fish. The Sabiki rig is ideal for catching bait  and is highly effective in catching smelts, goggle eyes, and even larger mullets. We found our Sabiki rigs while inspecting our supplier’s warehouse in coastal China. These were destined for Japan and Korea but we managed to purchase a good supply.

 These are all genuine Sabikis and are all tediously hand made. You will also notice that our collection includes some larger Sabikis and ready lures that are not usually found here in the US. We like these for larger bait fish and we keep a bunch of the larger lures for schools of mahis and other larger fish.

The prices are low enough to make these rigs throw away but you may want to re-use them. For the smaller sizes, our Sabiki rod is the perfect storage solution. For the larger ones, we like using a Cuban Yo-Yos and wrapping the rig around the Yo-Yo. Both items are available from our website.

Hook sizes in our description are our comparison to US hooks and may not match what is printed on the package (Asia sizes)

We did not bother with re-package to keep the price low, so these Sabikis come to you with a mix of Chinese, Korean or Japanese language.

At these prices, it does not cost much to keep a good assortment in your boat.
