ABOUT OUR LURES

It all started when we lost a big name $ 50 trolling lure to a shark. Actually, we had a pesky bonito on the line and this big thrashing shark took bonito, lure and all, never to be seen again.

It was not our first instance of loosing an expensive lure to a fish, but this one got us thinking. Why was the lure so expensive? It looked like a simple plastic head lure with no remarkable attribute. Could we find a manufacturer overseas that could provide us with good quality lures at a reasonable price? We knew that after taking the marketing hype and the expensive advertising away from the high priced lures, we had nothing but simple and time proven designs made the same way since the 70’s when the modern trolling lures came of age in Hawaii and Australia. 

After a search and help from our overseas friends, we found half a dozen companies that not surprising, made lures for the big Hawaiians and other fancy names in the lure business. We tested samples from all of them and eventually reduced the field to one supplier. This family owned company was willing to work with us in developing the changes we wanted and was able to produce a consistent quality product.

OUR SELECTION OF TROLLING LURES

We are starting our venture into the trolling lure business by offering a selection every boat should have. Our collection of twenty lures contains the most productive designs, colors and sizes. Of course we will be introducing new lures in the future and have a wish list to draw from, but this sampling should get the average angler well outfitted for most types of pelagic fishing.

LURE WARRANTY

Unfortunately we cannot extend our standard two year no hassle warranty to our lures. But we can guarantee that you will like the lures and will be impressed by their quality. If you are not satisfied, you can return the lures within two weeks (without wahoo or shark marks, unused and in its original package) for a full refund .
